Josh Hart trolls 66-year-old Knicks coach for ‘facegram’ comment on Jalen Brunson

Jalen Brunson cannot afford any distractions.

Josh Hart trolls 66-year-old Knicks coach for ‘facegram’ comment on Jalen Brunson

Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart

Jalen Brunson and the Knicks finished off their regular season with a record of 50-32, standing second in the East. The 27-year-old had the best season of his career, leading his team in points and assists.

This is the most focused version of Jalen Brunson the league has ever seen. He has also played 77 games this season, which is the second most in his career.

Playing alongside players like Josh Hart and OG Anunoby, Brunson has taken on the role of leader and has been more responsible in terms of production on the court. Head coach Tom Thibodeau praised his work ethic, though in a hilarious way. Josh Hart, on the other hand, couldn’t help but point it out to Brunson on Twitter.

He doesn’t have Facegram or whatever you call it.

This was a pretty funny sequence from Hart, who is a Twitterati himself. Brunson and Hart have a great friendship off the court, having their own podcast, Roommates Show.

Yo @jalenbrunson1 hit me on FaceGram.
Wrote Hart.

Hart is pretty active on Twitter, engaging with his followers whenever he has the time. On the other hand, Brunson is a more low-key individual off the court, not worried about social media as much.

Jalen Brunson is laser-focused, and rightfully so

Julius Randle suffered a shoulder injury about two weeks ago and is out for the postseason. Randle was one of the purest scorers on the roster, alongside Brunson.

Though the forward is now out for the postseason, Brunson has a lot of weight on his shoulders. Brunson has averaged 28.7 points, 6.7 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game in the regular season.

Going into the playoffs, Brunson will be the captain of the ship, as he was in the previous postseason. The Knicks were eliminated in the second round last year by the Miami Heat. While the team is much better this year, they are missing their star forward. It will be interesting to see how far Brunson can lead the Knicks in the postseason.

New York ended the season with a 5-game winning streak, though as they face teams like the Sixers or the Heat in the initial round, the Knicks will have a tougher series as they jump right into the postseason. The first round is scheduled to tip off on April 20th, and New York will look to prioritize their defensive end of the floor for the first round.
