So many people say you can't do things in life, and it's nights like these that remind you that it's worth it. I was alright till I saw my mum and my dad. I can't put it into words, but this is the best night of my life.
Jude Bellingham said in an interview

Bellingham added that even though his side missed out on the Copa del Rey, the 2023/24 season has been better than he could’ve dreamt it in every way possible. Following the Champions League triumph, Bellingham will be among the frontrunners to win the Ballon d’Or next season!

The Kings of Europe strike yet again! The Los Blancos have gone from strength to strength this season, and topped off an unbelievable campaign by adding Champions League No.15 to their trophy cabinet. After a gritty first half that saw Dortmund enjoy the greater share of chances and control over the game, Real Madrid managed to find their groove. The La Liga champions took the lead through a Dani Carvajal header, after the full-back met Kroos’ corner with a glancing header. The fact that he was one of the shortest men on the pitch was surprising to many.

With little over 15 minutes to go, Dortmund played themselves into trouble, as Ian Maatsen‘s misplaced pass ended in Vinicius Jr. putting the ball in the back of the net. As the full-time whistle blew, cameras panned to an emotional Kroos, who ends his club career as a six-time UCL champion. With the 2-0 defeat, Borussia Dortmund’s unbelievable fairytale run came to an end.
