Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster announced on Instagram that he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Laura Kruk, and she said yes. The NFL fraternity has flocked to wish the player and his partner congratulations on their engagement.

Smith-Schuster, who recently reunited with the Chiefs, went down on one knee while the two were on a romantic getaway. The proposal could not get any more cutesy with a luxurious yacht and a pink orangey sky as the background, nearby the Nantucket Island.

The duo matched their outfits contrasted by the blue wedding ring box and floral arrangements. The WR shared the engagement photos captioning, “I thank God everyday for you. Now & Forever.” Kruk also commented on the post, “Best day of my life i love you forever.” Mama Sammy Toa-Schuster wished the both the best of wishes and welcomed Kruk to her crazy family.

Kruk later reshared the images on her story with a text saying, “Can’t wait to spend forever with you.” She also shared a carousel with more pictures from the day through her Instagram. The carousel showed that the newly engaged couple eventually shared some clams on the picturesque beach.

Smith-Schuster’s proposal came a week after the highly watched Chiefs defeating the Baltimore Ravens at the Arrowhead Stadium. In a game where Xavier Worthy shone brightly, Smith-Schuster didn’t get much playtime.

Chiefs teammates and NFL fraternity wish JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk on their engagement

The WR and his fitness trainer fiancee received a lot of love from the NFL world. Smith-Schuster’s teammates Patrick Mahomes and Kelce rushed to his comments section to well wish their recently reunited friend. Kelce couldn’t hide his emotions as he left an emphasized comment on the WR’s post.

Smith-Schuster’s ex-teammates Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker TJ Watts and New England Patriots Kendrick Bourne also commented on the WR’s post. Carlos Dunlap II‘s comment raised some brows as he brought up the sink or swim joke.

In the pictures, Kruk wore a summer dress paired with a coral colored Chanel Nano and high heels. Meanwhile, Smith-Schuster wore a Jacquemus white grosgrain logo tee with creamy pants.
