Junior Dos Santos vs Ciryl Gane booked for UFC 256
The UFC veteran Junior Dos Santos is ready to make his comeback in the Octagon once again in a fight against the 13th ranked heavyweight fighter Ciryl Gane at UFC 256. Dos Santos holds the victory over 5 UFC heavyweight champions in his record. Frank Mir, Fabricio Werdum, Shane Carwin, Cain Valasquez, and Stipe Miocic all have fallen before the wrath of Dos Santos.
But during his recent fights, he doesn’t have a good run. He is on a three-fight losing streak and his latest loss came against Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 252. On the other hand, Ciryl Gane is one of the young guns of UFC. He holds a record of 6-0 inside the Octagon. His last prey was Tanner Boser whom he defeated at UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs Korean Zombie.
With a win over Dos Santos, Gane will look forward to making a statement in the heavyweight division. The Portuguese fighter Dos Santos holds a win against one of the top heavyweight fighters so it is not going to be an easy fight for Ciryl Gane.
Dos Santos will present a significant challenge for Gane
Junior Dos Santos created a major upset in the fight against Cain Valasquez and won the UFC Heavyweight championship. The former champion will present a major challenge for the newcomer Ciryl Gane.
Gane is having a great run at UFC he has defeated the fighters like Tanner Boser, Don’Tale Mayes, and others. With this, he is on an undefeated streak until now but the former champion Dos Santos would love to do what he is known for, i.e. creating major upsets for the other fighters and end the undefeated streak of Gane.
