Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is thoroughly enjoying his well-earned break from football. The German tactician parted ways with the Reds at the end of the 2023/24 season after communicating his decision to do so months prior. Despite an emotional farewell and many claiming that the club will find it difficult to recover from his departure, a recent picture shared on his Instagram tells that Klopp is enjoying his days as a Swiftie!

Anfield has been host to some of the most exhilarating and nail-biting clashes in recent years. After the end of the 2023/24 season, the historic venue was host to a concert by none other than pop sensation and singer Taylor Swift. Fans are still in shock as Jurgen Klopp shared a picture revealing that he too, has become a Swiftie.

A picture that has gone viral on social media features the Champions League and Premier League winner donning a bright pink cowboy hat. Under the image, the manager added a quirky caption, which gave fans a lot to talk about.

“I guess I am officially a Swiftie,” read the former manager’s caption. The 56-year-old is new to Instagram, making his first post as early as 18th May.

Jurgen Klopp’s agent responds to rumors of him taking up new job

Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool as a Premier League champion, with A Champions League medal and many other domestic accolades. The German said goodbye to his fans and pointed out ‘fatigue’ as the reason for his decision. However, just months after his departure from the club, rumors surrounding him taking up a new job have surfaced. Recently, the German’s agent responded to the same with conviction.

Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke exclaimed that the rumors were ‘nonsense’ and that he isn’t going to take up a role so soon. Salzurger Nachrichten, an Austrian news outlet reported that Klopp was close to joining Red Bull as their football chief. In other news, a role that is similar to that of Michael Edwards at Fenway Sports Group.

Liverpool‘s relationship with Red Bull is no secret, with the Reds signing Dominik Szoboszlai, Ibrahima Konate and Naby Keita from them in recent years. Klopp’s assistant Pep Lijnders recently joined RB Salzburg as their new head coach. Lijnders’ assistant at Salzburg is also a former elite development coach at Liverpool.
