Surprising fans, Jurgen Klopp is set to take up Borussia Dortmund’s managerial role for a one-off special match next month. This will mark his comeback to his former club after nine years, following his recent departure from Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp stepped down as Liverpool manager at the end of last season, citing exhaustion as a reason. After taking a well-deserved break, Klopp is now preparing for an emotional one-time return to lead his former club, Dortmund, in a special match on September 7th at the Signal Iduna Park. Klopp enjoyed a highly successful stint at Dortmund until his departure in 2015, winning two Bundesliga titles.
