Ex-Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp hinted at retirement from management, just months after walking away from the Reds at the end of his nine-year long stint. The German claimed he will not return to management, dismissing multiple links.
Jurgen Klopp departed Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 season, etching his name as one of the greatest managers in the club’s history. His time at Anfield was marked by remarkable success, including ending a 30-year wait for a Premier League title and securing a Champions League trophy. Despite these accomplishments, the 57-year-old chose to step down, citing the relentless demands of the position.
Following his Liverpool departure due to exhaustion, Klopp was linked to the United States and England national team. However, the German manager, speaking at the International Coaches’ Congress in Germany, dismissed the speculation while suggesting that he might not return to management. However, the 57-year-old expressed a willingness in the near future to be involved in football administration and to support players in the future.
As of today, that's it for me as a coach. I didn't quit on a whim, but it was a general decision. I've also coached the best clubs in the world. I still want to work in football and help people.Jurgen Klopp on his future (via ESPN)

Jurgen Klopp’s treatment of Alexis Mac Allister reportedly caused ‘jealousy’ among other Liverpool players
Recent reports suggest that former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s treatment of midfielder Alexis Mac Allister during the 2023-24 season caused jealousy among other players.
The Argentinean midfielder enjoyed an impressive debut campaign at Anfield after joining the club from Brighton in a £35 million move. In a recent interview, Mac Allister described a close and affectionate relationship with Klopp. He revealed that the manager often treated him like a son, something that often amused, as well as annoyed his teammates.
I have an incredible relationship with him, honestly. I even have to put up with being called his son. I put up with that all year. Now that he's gone, I don’t have that problem.Alexis Mac Allister on former manager Jurgen Klopp (via Infobae)
After an impressive debut season, the 25-year-old is anticipated to play a key role for the club next season. He has become an integral part of the club’s new midfield, joining Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, and Wataru Endo.
