Justin Gaethje returned to the White House on Friday, nearly three weeks after capturing the undisputed UFC lightweight championship at UFC Freedom 250.

The newly crowned champion visited the White House in Washington, D.C., with members of his family, where he met President Donald Trump and several members of the president’s cabinet. The visit marked Gaethje’s return to the site of the biggest victory of his MMA career after he defeated Ilia Topuria in the main event of the historic UFC Freedom 250 card.

Gaethje claimed the undisputed lightweight title by stopping Topuria in the fourth round, handing the previously unbeaten champion the first loss of his professional MMA career. The victory improved Gaethje’s record to 28 wins and five losses and gave him the undisputed UFC championship after years competing among the lightweight division’s top contenders.

President Trump first revealed Gaethje’s return to the White House in a post on social media, congratulating the UFC champion on his title winning performance at UFC Freedom 250. The visit came after Trump publicly praised Gaethje’s upset victory over Topuria, who entered the bout as one of the promotion’s most dominant champions.

Gaethje later shared photos from the visit on Instagram. The post included images of the fighter posing with his UFC championship belt alongside his family on the White House grounds. Other photos showed Gaethje and his relatives during what appeared to be a lunch with Trump inside the White House.

The visit represented another milestone in the weeks following Gaethje’s championship victory. After spending years challenging for UFC gold and earning a reputation as one of the promotion’s most action oriented fighters, Gaethje secured the undisputed lightweight title at one of the most unusual venues in UFC history before returning as a guest.

His latest appearance at the White House came in a very different role than his previous visit. Instead of entering the grounds to compete inside the Octagon, Gaethje returned as the reigning UFC lightweight champion alongside his family.

Justin Gaethje’s UFC title win also led to a reported $3.6 million sponsorship deal

Justin Gaethje’s success at UFC Freedom 250 has also produced new opportunities outside competition. According to his longtime manager, Ali Abdelaziz, the lightweight champion recently signed a $3.6 million sponsorship agreement following his title victory.

Abdelaziz announced the deal on X, writing, “Breaking news just secured a $3.6 million sponsorship deal for Justin Gaethje following his historic victory at the White House UFC 250 event. The White House effect is real. More announcements coming soon.”

The reported sponsorship agreement followed Gaethje’s championship victory over Topuria and came before his return visit to the White House. Together, the appearance in Washington and the reported commercial deal marked two significant developments in the weeks after Gaethje became the UFC’s undisputed lightweight champion.
