After a Pro Bowl season, Justin Jefferson was well-rewarded this offseason by the Minnesota Vikings as he became the highest-paid non-quarterback player in the league’s history. His mammoth deal worth $140 million defined the wide receiver market and set the standard enormously high.

But that hardly changed the star receiver’s lifestyle as he continued to live in his modest house based on which one would hardly guess he is the highest-paid wide receiver playing in the NFL. The closer look at the Vikings wideout’s house was revealed in the Netflix Receiver documentary, which featured prominent NFL stars.

After exploring the luxurious houses of Deebo Samuel, Davante Adams, George Kittle, and Amon-Ra St. Brown, the most shocking moment was when it was the turn of Jefferson’s house, which was a small townhouse worth $405,000 in Minnesota.

Justin Jefferson shares his modest lifestyle

During the opening day of the Vikings training camp, the former Offensive Player of the Year was asked about his modest house despite owning the title of the highest-paid non-quarterback. His response won many hearts as he revealed his upbringing has had a great influence on the man he is today. And since he does not have a big family, there’s no point in living in a mansion other than to flaunt his money.

I'm a one person. I ain't got no big family. I don't need to be a no $10 million mansion. That's not something that I came from. I grew up with parents that was grateful for what they had. I was grateful for what I grew up with.

He shared growing up, he never lived in a big mansion so he doesn’t feel a need for it now. For now, he may not have plans as such, but maybe in the future Jefferson would want a big house as he said. If he doesn’t, it certainly wouldn’t be surprising since he drives a $150,000 Mercedes-Benz.

The three-time Pro Bowler purchased the townhouse in Minneapolis with the help of his parents, John and Elaine Jefferson as he revealed in an interview with GQ in his rookie year when he signed a four-year contract worth $13.1 million in 2020.
