Justin Jefferson‘s diamond braces have become as iconic as his giddy celebration after scoring a touchdown. The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver certainly knows how to catch everyone’s eye.
“I love having grills on,” Jefferson said during an interview when asked about the things he can’t live without.
Besides his bright braces, which glisten every time he smiles for the camera, he has added a new accessory to his jewelry collection. During the late-night kickoff of SNF at US Bank Stadium against the Indianapolis Colts, Jefferson showed up wearing a diamond necklace.

How much has Justin Jefferson spent on the braces and the necklace
Football fans cannot picture the 25-year-old without his jewelry. But has anyone thought about how much they cost? Jefferson installed the braces very early after signing with the Vikings in 2020. He spent nearly $200,000 on the braces with his first 7 million dollars.

Jefferson recently received a massive monetary upgrade. The Vikings made the LSU graduate the highest-paid wide receiver in the league by agreeing to a four-year, $140 million contract extension that includes $110 million guaranteed.
His insurance aside, Jefferson certainly can purchase a few expensive pieces of jewelry with his new paycheck, which he did by adding a new diamond necklace. However, it’s unclear how much he spent.
Justin Jefferson previously acquired a one-of-a-kind Jet necklace that boasts 14k gold and 37 carats of VVS diamonds. His jewelry collection has an estimated price worth of $300 million.
Justin Jefferson’s performance in 2024
The Vikings witnessed several changes in the off-season, but none more so than longtime quarterback Kirk Cousins‘ departure to Atlanta. Kevin O’Connell brought in Sam Darnold from the 49ers and elevated him to No. 1 after rookie JJ McCarthy suffered a season-ending Achilles tear.
Despite the sudden change, Jefferson’s output did not see any slump. As a matter of fact, the Vikings got off to one of the franchise’s best starts in the Super Bowl era.
O’Connell’s Vikings have won six games this season after securing a victory over the Colts on Sunday. Darnold had a mixed game with 28 from 34 completions for 290 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Jefferson did not score any points but lodged seven catches for 137 yards. So far, in nine games, he has 48 catches for 783 yards and five touchdowns. He will have more chances to score points when the Vikings travel to Florida and play the Jacksonville Jaguars.
