Juventus looking to cash in on club superstar Cristiano Ronaldo?
Cristiano Ronaldo might be finding himself in a new club next season

Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way out of Juventus next year as they look to cash in on him. The 36 year old is felt to be a major wage earner in the club and his wages are detrimental in the pandemic ravaged season. It looks to be seen which club can match his transfer fee and will be willing to pay for his massive wages.

He earns around 31 million euros per season at the club. Coronavirus has hit many clubs hard and they are struggling without revenue. No fans and hospitality services and refunding of season ticket holders means that clubs are without revenue for almost a whole season. With broadcasting fees having to be paid too, clubs are at an all-time financial low. Clubs have asked players to take pay cuts in order to keep the club running.

In this period it seems that high earners like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are liabilities to their respective clubs. Talent aside, the latter was signed so that he could lead Juventus to the Champions League. In the two seasons he has played, Juventus have fallen out in the quarterfinals and round of 16. This year isn’t any different as they’ve been hit by injuries.

It would seem that Kylian Mbappe might leave next season as he has seemingly indicated that he isn’t willing to extend his contract.  In the case that happens, PSG could use that money to secure Ronaldo’s services. Him and Neymar together can forge a partnership and possibly lead PSG to Champions League glory.

It remains to be seen if any of this is true or just needless speculation.
