Brazilian football legend Kaka married Brazilian singer, Caroline Celico, in 2005. The two were married for almost a decade and had two children before divorcing in 2015. While many were unsure why they separated, Celico has finally revealed why they separated.
In a recent report published by the Sun, the singer claimed the Ballon d’Or winner was “too perfect” at being a husband. She said that although Kaka was treating her well and had a family with him, she was unhappy.
Kaka never betrayed me, he treated me well, he gave me a wonderful family, but I was not happy, something was missing. The problem was, he was too perfect for me.Caroline Celico told The Sun
The two married in 2005 and had two children, Luca in 2008 and Isabelle in 2012. A year after the divorce, he met Brazilian model Carolina Dias. Since then they have been together and recently married. He has two daughters with her, Esther and Sara.
Meanwhile, Celico has also remarried. She tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend in 2021, a year after being engaged to him. She is currently pregnant with her third child.

When fans read Caroline Celico’s reasoning for her divorce, it left many fans shocked. Despite her admitting Kaka was a great husband, it left many fans wondering what she wanted in her relationship with the Brazilian great.

Currently, Kaka works as an ambassador for the United Nations’ World Food Program. He regularly participates in charity football matches as well, recently featuring in the Qatar Hope Charity Football match. The match is often remembered as he was fouled by streamer IShowSpeed.
Kaka began his football career in Brazil, playing for Sao Paulo. His performances caught the eyes of Italian Giants AC Milan, winning the Ballon d’Or in his 4th season. In 2009 he joined Real Madrid, signing for the club alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
After four years with Los Blancos, he returned to AC Milan in 2013 and left the very next season for MLS’s Orlando City. He stayed at the club for three years, including a loan at Sao Paulo, before retiring in 2017. Kaka has expressed his desire to work in management, preferably as a club director. He also has admitted that he wanted to be an Evangelical pastor, something his ex-wife became.
