Kamaru Usman can face 6 months medical suspension


“The Nigerian Nightmare” Kamaru Usman defended his middleweight title against his former teammate and number one contender Gilbert Burns and won the fight via third-round TKO at UFC 258.
After the fight Kamaru Usman could be suspended for six months as it is being said that Kamaru has injured his right foot and must get an X-ray before he can be allowed to compete again, this report was issued by Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC).
Kamaru must get an X-ray of his right foot, then he must get a clearance by orthopedic or sports doctor otherwise it would be no contest for him until Aug 13 and a minimum suspension with no contest until March 16, or no contact until March 7.
His opponent Gilbert Burns is not allowed to compete until March 31
Alexa Grasso and Mayce Barber might also face medical suspension

The co-main event of UFC 258 was between Alexa Grasso and Maycee Barber and both of them went on a war, where Alexa Grasso won the fight via unanimous decision.
Now Alexa Grasso must get a X-ray MRI of her right knee-if positive then she must get a clearance by orthopedic or sports doctor, or no contest until Aug 13 and minimum suspension with no contest until March 16, no contact until March 7.
Maycee Barber must also get an MRI of her right shoulder, if positive then she must also get an clearance by orthopedic or sports doctor. She also needs to get her maxillofacial CT scan and if positive then must get a clearance by oral and maxillofacial doctor or no contest until Aug 13, minimum suspension with no contest until 16 March, no contact until 7 March.
