It did not take long for Texas Longhorns wideout Xavier Worthy to turn into a meme. Shortly after he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 28th overall pick in the draft, his first reaction when he entered his new locker room went viral. The wideout appeared to be in shock as he came from a University that had state-of-the-art locker room facilities. As good as Arrowhead Stadium is, it is still one of the oldest stadiums in the NFL and in Worthy’s eyes, the facilities were not worthy for a team which had just won the Super Bowl.
Xavier Worthy has now suffered his second shock, his car has reportedly been stolen on Wednesday night from his apartment complex in Kansas City. As per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the wide receiver had parked his car in the garage of the residential complex. From the looks of it, a professional group of criminals that “knew exactly what they were doing” were the masterminds behind this theft.
Fortunately, for Worthy, he was not in the car at the time nor was he in a position of risk. He did not sustain any injuries nor was carjacked. It is a simple case of car theft. The reality checks keep coming for the Longhorns alum. The Kansas City Chiefs ought to be relieved that their wide receiver is unharmed.
Fans began to mock Rashee Rice and even accused him of stealing Xavier Worthy’s car on social media
As soon as the Chiefs announced the news of Worthy’s car being stolen, fans online began to call Rashee Rice out and jokingly claimed that the wide receiver was behind this theft. Rice has been in the limelight after he faced arrest over eight charges for causing a high-speed six-vehicle crash in Dallas. He was speeding at an alarming pace on the highway and was recklessly overtaking the other drivers on the roads, thereby putting his life and theirs at risk.
Xavier Worthy had recently purchased the car, unfortunately, he did not get to spend a whole lot of time with it. Fans had mixed reactions to the robbery with most of them calling out Rashee Rice for the same and some expressing sympathy over his loss.

Hopefully, Xavier Worthy gets his car back, it’s hard to have your brand-new ride stolen within such a short span. The first-round pick of the reigning Super Bowl champions comes in as a breath of fresh air for the Chiefs. He left scouts awestruck with his insane 40-yard timing of 4.21 seconds and has continued to shine in rookie minicamp. He is in the right situation surrounded by talent and with a quarterback as qualified as Patrick Mahomes to throw to him, it will be interesting to see how he fares in his rookie year.
