Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest names in professional wrestling. Anytime there is a reference to him, it certainly makes waves among the wrestling fans. This week on Raw, there was an interaction where there was a mention of The Beast Incarnate. The moment quickly got a reaction from the WWE Universe and generated a lot of buzz on social media.

Former NXT Champion Karrion Kross was scheduled for a match with Xavier Woods. Before the match, Kross tried to get under the skin of Woods. Therefore, he took a shot at his best friend, Kofi Kingston, who was injured. He said that Kofi should have retired when he lost his WWE Championship in under six seconds. It was a clear reference to the infamous squash match between Kingston and Lesnar on SmackDown in 2019.

Why don't you tell that one arm basta*d Kofi Kingston that he should have retired after he lost the WWE Title in just six seconds.

In 2019, on the first ever edition of SmackDown on Fox, WWE had Kofi Kingston go up against Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. The match faced severe criticism after The Beast squashed the Ghanian-born superstar in seconds. However, WWE allowing Kross to mention such an infamous incident highlights that WWE may no longer be on bad terms with Lesnar.

After his name was implicated in the s*x trafficking case against Vince McMahon, WWE seemingly tried to cut ties with him. However, recently, Triple H seemingly alluded that the former WWE Champion might’ve received the green light to return. Having said that, the Stamford-based promotion will need clearance from the legal team, especially during the ongoing federal investigation.

Emerging report about the return of Brock Lesnar

Ever since Triple H provided an update on Brock Lesnar’s status during his tour to London, there have been constant waves of reaction around his potential return. Speaking of that, a new report has finally addressed the possibility of the comeback and status of The Beast in the company following his alleged involvement with Janel Grant’s case.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, The Game has prepared a scripted answer to any question regarding Lesnar. He added that the Beast was pulled out of Royal Rumble at the last minute because of his name being involved in the s*x trafficking case. Meltzer clarified that Lesnar’s status hasn’t changed.

It's the same thing as what Paul Levesque said at the Rumble. 'Oh, yeah, well — we talked but it's not any big deal, No, the whole thing was freaking scripted into the show and pulled at the last minute because of the lawsuit and … that has not changed no matter what he said.

Furthermore, the report also suggested that Hunter prefers not to talk about the lawsuit. Therefore, he just averts the questions for the time being. Meltzer didn’t rule out the possibility of Lesnar’s return. However, he believes he is not coming back anytime soon.
