Karrion Kross once again asked for a chance to show his talent on WWE screen after being overlooked for months by the WWE management.

Karrion Kross has built momentum on Monday Night Raw, with fans rallying behind him for weeks. Despite the growing support, WWE still hasn’t given him much spotlight on weekly TV. After repeatedly asking for a chance, The Doomwalker once again took to WWE management to plead for an opportunity to make his mark on screen.
Kross took to X to express his desire for a proper opportunity to perform in front of the fans on Monday Night Raw. He made it clear that he wants to be part of actual storylines on screen, not just pop up in random backstage segments. The former NXT Champion also pointed out that the WWE Universe has called for this for nearly a year now.
Boy, I’d love the opportunity to try. And the audience has been asking to see it every single week.

This wasn’t the first time The Herald of Doomsday had asked for a shot. Back during the road to WrestleMania, Karrion Kross repeatedly pushed WWE management to include him on the card. But when he was left off yet another WrestleMania, he snapped—going off in a heated rant after the show, calling out the unfair treatment of talent in the wrestling world.

The former NXT Champion’s popularity skyrocketed after WrestleMania. In fact, reports revealed that The Doomwalker was the top merchandise seller during WrestleMania weekend—surpassing big names like John Cena, Jey Uso, and Joe Hendry. As such, only time will tell if and when WWE finally gives the 39-year-old the opportunity he’s been fighting for.
Sami Zayn challenged Karrion Kross on Monday Night Raw this week
Karrion Kross has popped up in random backstage segments for weeks now. Over the past few months, he’s crossed paths with top names like Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, and Sami Zayn. Lately, though, he’s been zeroing in on Zayn, trying to convince The Honorary Uce to tap into his darker side. But this week on Raw, Zayn had enough—and finally stepped up to challenge The Doomwalker.

During a backstage segment on Raw, the former NXT Champion confronted Zayn. Kross warned him that if he kept doing things his way, he’d never make it in WWE—especially not in the King of the Ring tournament. However, Zayn didn’t back down. He fired back, saying that once he’s done with the KOTR, he’s going straight to WWE management to ask for a match against The Doomwalker.

Karrion Kross cracked a smile after hearing Zayn’s challenge. If the match gets made, it’ll be Kross’ first in-ring appearance on WWE TV in quite a while. Despite his talent, he’s only been featured in backstage segments lately. Now, with a possible showdown against The Underdog from the Underground on the horizon, it’ll be interesting to see if Kross can finally make the impact he’s been waiting for.
Karrion Kross is working in the final year of his WWE contract
Karrion Kross made his WWE return in August 2022, and at the time, reports said he and his wife Scarlett had signed a three-year deal with the company. However, over the past few years, The Doomwalker hasn’t been used to his full potential on WWE TV. Now, with that contract set to expire later this year, his future with the company could be up in the air.

According to Fightful Select, Kross’ contract is set to expire this August. With just a month left, WWE has yet to reach out with a new deal. This could be a sign that the company might be planning to release him from the company upon his contract expiry.
If that happens, it’ll be a major blow for Kross’ fans around the world. Many are already calling out Triple H for turning a blind eye to The Doomwalker. Given how passionate his fanbase is, the situation could stir up quite a bit of backlash—especially after WWE’s controversial releases of stars like Dakota Kai, Braun Strowman, and Cora Jade earlier this year.
