The WWE Universe has witnessed several of the WWE wrestlers getting injured this year. But one of the most ill-times injuries of the year will undoubtedly be of Karrion Kross. Kross was injured during the same show in which he won the NXT Championship.

Karrion Kross defeated Keith Lee at Takeover XXX to win the WWE NXT Championship title. Kross suffered a separated shoulder, which resulted him in being out of action for couple of months. He had to relinquish his title, just days after his win. While no update on his return was given, but it seems like Kross will be returning soon.

Will Kross be after the NXT title?

According to a report on Wrestling Observer Radio, fans will soon see Kross back on NXT. It is likely that the first thing Kross does on his return, is to confront the current NXT Champion Finn Balor.

Incidentally, Balor, the current NXT Champion too was injured in his last title defense match. Even Balor was off NXT for a couple of weeks. He returned during last week’s NXT episode. While he was addressing the WWE Universe, he was interfered by the Kings of NXT, led by Pat McAfee.

But Balor wasn’t alone. The Undisputed Era returned with Balor. It seems like they will be facing off at War Games in December. We could also witness Kross’ return at that event.
