Kate Upton‘s five-year-old daughter, Genevieve feels confused about her mother’s job. In an interview, Upton revealed that her daughter thinks she is a tennis player because she goes to play for fun.

She has now realized that sports is an actual profession, considering Justin Verlander is an athlete. The actress/model has tried explaining to Genevieve about her job, taking her to the set with her, however it seems it is too complicated for the 5-year-old.

It seems to be a recurring thing with Genevieve. Previously she also used to think her father, who is a starting pitcher for the Houston Astros, was a golfer.

The couple has tried to keep their daughter out of the spotlight as much as they can. It took her a couple of matches to see Justin on the field before realizing his profession. She might learn of Upton’s profession soon enough as well.

Kate Upton back on Sports Illustrated 2024

The supermodel was back on Sports Illustrated on the issue of its 60th anniversary milestone. She has been modeling for the magazine ever since her debut in 2011 (having been absent for a few years in recent times). Featuring on the body-paint section of the same, she was named “Rookie of the Year” in her debut year.

It comes full circle as she celebrated this milestone with Sports Illustrated alongside fellow cover stars Chrissy Teigen, Gayle King and Hunter McGrady. Expressing her joy at how things have panned out for her with the iconic magazine, Upton reflected on a very momentous journey.

She went on to add some valuable points about women’s positivity as well. Nevertheless, Upton has been winning in life, with an adorable family by her side.
