Before this gold in Paris, she teamed with Barbora Krejcikova to win the women’s doubles gold at the Tokyo Games three years ago. Katerina Siniakova has an impressive portfolio which consists of as many as nine doubles Grand Slam titles along with two Olympic gold medals.

While the 28-year-old won seven Major titles with Krejcikova, Siniakova recently teamed up with Coco Gauff to win the French Open title and then with Taylor Townsend to win the Wimbledon Championships. Krejcikova and Siniakova reunited in doubles at the 2024 Prague Open and later at the Paris Games, where they lost in the quarterfinals to the Russian pair of Diana Shnaider and Mirra Andreeva.
