In a match between two Britons, Katie Boulter went down to Harriet Dart after a heartbreaking final set that she lost 8-10 in the tiebreak. The final score-line was 6-4, 1-6, 6-7(10). After a tough loss like that, Boulter thanked her boyfriend Alex de Minaur for being there to help get her through it.

The couple have been public about their support for each other, with de Minaur even flying halfway across the world to watch Boulter play, melting the hearts of many fans. On Thursday, Boulter shared another experience where she mentioned how grateful she is to her other half.

One match doesn’t define my career. That’s the first thing he said to me when I got off the court. He knows what he’s talking about. It’s not his first rodeo. He’s been through it all before, and I’m lucky to have that support.

I think after Wimbledon we’re gonna have a couple of days where we’re just gonna switch off from the whole entire world, phone’s gonna be off, no one’s gonna be calling me and I will not be looking at any result going on that week.

Addressing this hectic nature of the sport, Boulter mentioned that the two would be going on a break where they will turn their phones off and not even read about tennis results for a few days, as soon as their Wimbledon campaign conclude.
