7x Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky hopes for ‘an opportunity to meet’ Caitlin Clark during 2024 Paris games
Olympian Katie Ledecky praises Caitlin Clark for her rise to stardom in a short amount of time; wishes to meet women’s college basketball star amid Olympics bid.

7x Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky recently expressed desire to meet women’s college basketball champion Caitlin Clark at Paris games. Following the basketball season, Clark’s incredible performance gained sports world attention.
Ledecky who witnessed Clark’s rise in the sports world admitted she wants to meet her soon, “Hopefully, we’ll have an opportunity to meet.” In an interview with Fox News Digital, Ledecky told it’ll be great if they can meet during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Although, Ledecky did not have the opportunity to meet Clark yet, she meet her soon as a member of the USA women’s basketball team. Clark was also invited to attend the training camp. Praising her, Ledecky noted,

While Clark is in consideration for Team USA, she said she has to graduate first before suiting up for the Olympics. She candidly talked about the consequences of not graduating first,

Katie Ledecky ready to claim 8th gold medal at 2024 Paris Olympics
Katie Ledecky talked about the upcoming Paris Olympic games and how she’s prepping for her next win. Ledecky has won seven gold medals at Olympics so far, and has become one of the greatest to do so in the sport.
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, she told how she’s ready for the competition and whoever and whichever country they belong to. Recently, there’s been a visible competitive edge between the U.S. and Australia noting their previous records and wins.
I think the world of swimming is super competitive right now…There’s some really competitive relay competitions between the two countries. But really, I don’t think we can count out anyone at this point from around the world.Katie Ledecky as per Ryan Gaydos of Fox News.
Ledecky further added that she herself is looking out for some swimmers but her main focus would be to help Team USA win the game. “I’ve been racing well recently,” and she believes she can bring her 100% during the Paris games this summer.
