Kayla Nicole continues to reference her ex-boyfriend, Travis Kelce, even though the Kansas City Chiefs star is engaged to Grammy winner Taylor Swift. While chatting with Love Island USA’s Ace Green on TikTok Live, Nicole shaded the reason behind her public breakup with Kelce.

Green began the discussion by asking the well-known Instagram model when she had last experienced love. Without hesitation, Nicole, 34, replied that three years ago.

That said, she did not mention any names, let alone drag Kelce into the discussion. However, she has remained single ever since breaking up with the three-time Super Bowl champion tight end. When Green pushed her to spill the reason behind her split, Nicole replied, “Umm, who knows. It could be compatibility issues, right person, wrong time.”

Travis and Kayla dated for nearly five years. They first became a couple in 2017 and attended several high-profile events together during the Chiefs’ heyday. Sadly, the relationship lasted until May 2022.

There were several reasons behind the split. According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kelce wanted to split their expenses equally, which Nicole later denied, calling the 36-year-old “too cheap.” TK later clarified on his podcast that he was solely supporting her, emphasizing that both contributed to their relationship financially. However, Nicole dismissed the Kelce’s claims as “absurd and very false.”

An intriguing rumor arose in 2020 when the two took a break from their romance. The rumors suggested infidelity issues caused the temporary breakup. But Kelce denied these claims, stating that they were not the reason for the split.

As both are established figures in society, rumors tend to swirl on the internet. It is difficult to separate the truth from the fabricated stories; that’s why nobody knows the real reason behind the pair ending their union.
