Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is once again at the center of controversy. His estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro, has made serious allegations of domestic violence in court filings related to the couple’s divorce proceedings.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Vaccaro has accused Hill of committing eight separate incidents of domestic violence. As per the said documents, the violence allegedly began in January 2024, just two months after their costly marriage. There was even one instance where Hill allegedly spat on her, while one claimed that he got physical with her while she was pregnant.
She filed for divorce on April 8, one day after police responded to a reported domestic dispute between the couple.
Hill has denied all allegations, with his attorney dismissing the claims as a “shakedown” and “an attempt to generate bad media coverage.” As of Tuesday, Hill had not been criminally charged, and it remains unclear whether law enforcement is investigating Vaccaro’s claims.
These new allegations are further proof that Ms. Vacarro and/or her counsel are set on partaking in a smear campaign in hopes that Mr. Hill will settle and give, she and her counsel an unreasonable and unwarranted amount of money. Mr. Hill will not be moved by this and awaits his day in Court to present his evidence.

The allegations add to a growing list of troubling off-field incidents that have followed Hill during his tenure with the Dolphins. In June 2023, he was involved in a physical altercation with an employee at Haulover Marina, while a separate lawsuit filed the same month accuses Hill of breaking a social media influencer’s leg.
In September 2024, Hill was detained by Miami-Dade police for speeding and reckless driving just hours before Miami’s season opener at Hard Rock Stadium. In the same year, following their Week 18 loss to the New York Jets, Hill infamously exited the game, stating that he’s out.
Despite his on-field accolades, including five All-Pro selections, Hill’s career has been repeatedly overshadowed by accusations of misconduct. The wideout, entering the second year of a restructured three-year, $90 million contract with Miami, faces renewed scrutiny as he works to build the broken relationship with the team, or maybe he’s not looking for that.
Tyreek Hill linked with the Pittsburgh Steelers amid the court proceedings and new revelations
The Miami Dolphins’ 2025 season began disastrously, as head coach Mike McDaniel’s team suffered a lopsided 33-8 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa committed three turnovers, while star wide receiver Tyreek Hill was visibly frustrated on the sideline after being limited to just four catches for 40 yards.

The loss has already fueled speculation about sweeping changes in Miami, including the possibility of a Hill trade before the deadline. The chances of the new revelations playing a role in his trade are currently unknown.
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Pittsburgh Steelers are emerging as a potential suitor. Despite recently acquiring DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh lacks a definitive second option at receiver, and Florio suggested Hill could be the piece to elevate quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers’ offense even further.
There’s already chatter, in the aftermath of Sunday’s win over the Jets, that the all-in Steelers could go even more all-in by making a move for Hill… The Steelers don’t have a clear-cut No. 2… Why wouldn’t quarterback Aaron Rodgers want Hill?
A return to the Kansas City Chiefs has also been floated, given the team’s current shortage at receiver and Hill’s past admission that he sometimes regrets leaving. However, Kansas City’s salary cap limitations would be a significant obstacle.
