Since Taylor Swift began dating NFL star Travis Kelce, a significant amount of the media coverage related to the Kansas City Chiefs has been about the pop star. While many analysts, as well as fans, have expressed displeasure over it despite her monetary impact on the NFL, Kelly Stafford appears to be the first WAG to voice her concern about it.

During an episode of The Morning After podcast, where she admitted being jealous of the 14-time Grammy winner because of the increased NFL coverage about Swift, Matthew Stafford’s wife asserted Swift grasped away the attention from the NFL games onto herself, and it became less about the games and more about her.

With witty intent, Kelly recognized the financial benefits the league has gained since the “Lover” singer began attending NFL games and referred to it as a “good business” decision.

It was a good business decision for the NFL but I almost felt like it was outshining the games. And that’s what bothered me. I watched my husband work his a** off and all of these guys who work for the league work their asses off and all of a sudden they’re like the sideshow.

Although Kelly clarified that she never expressed any dislike for Swift, Swifties seem to interpret her comments as having negative intentions. Swift herself has addressed the increased attention on her during NFL games, saying she is only there to support her beau, Kelce.

The Los Angeles Rams quarterback’s wife seems to have gotten on the bad side of Swifties, not just for her remarks about the increased attention on the popstar, but for dressing as the music icon for Halloween. The day after her podcast on The Morning After show aired, Kelly shared a bunch of pictures of her family getting in the spirit of Halloween. 

She and her husband quickly caught Swifties’ attention after recreating Swift and Kelce’s prominent U.S. Open appearance. She decked up in a similar gingham dress in red and white shade as the “Midnight” singer did, along with her signature red lipstick.

If that wasn’t enough, she wore a blonde wig with bangs to resemble Swift’s hairstyle. Meanwhile, her husband Matthew decked up in a similar outfit that Kelce wore on his date to the U.S. Open game, including the Gucci bucket hat.
