Kelly Stafford will not back down without a fight. The wife of the Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford attacked ‘insecure men’ and claimed that she was grateful to marry ‘the complete opposite.’
It’s no secret that Kelly Stafford has a habit of spitting controversial comments that come back to haunt her. She recently disclosed about dating her husband’s ‘bad boy’ backup at Georgia Bulldogs.
Her motive behind the calculated move was to make Stafford jealous. It worked because the Super Bowl winner, who initially wasn’t interested in a relationship, caved in.
The two started dating and married in 2015. Stafford has four daughters who frequent his games at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
However, that did not stop Kelly from revealing her past fling with another man to win over Stafford. As a result, many, including ESPN contributor Stephen A. Smith, questioned Kelly Stafford for choosing to reveal the story now almost a decade after their marriage.
After remaining silent for almost two weeks, Kelly finally posted a reply on social media.
Kelly Stafford fired back at the trolls for criticizing her
On Thursday evening, Matthew and Kelly Stafford attended Country singer Chris Stapleton’s concert at Hollywood Bowl in LA. Stafford shared a photo of themselves enjoying Stapleton’s music on Instagram.
She captioned the post with a message to the trollers who have been on her tail since unveiling her secret from college.
Realizing how many insecure men there are out there.. so grateful I married the complete opposite. Loved last night.Kelly Stafford wrote
Even while the people on social media were calling her out, Stafford went bungee-jumping with her husband. She captioned it, “If you’re not tempting death, you’re not really living.”
Kelly also apologized to Joe Cox and his family. After her shocking revelation, most thought it was Cox, Matthew Stafford’s former backup at Georgia, was the man she was talking about. Cox, who is now the tight ends coach at Ole Miss, has been the subject of online trolling.
To this beautiful fam…I am sorry for the media storm that happened last week that made its way into your lives. You had ZERO involvement in what I spoke about and in fact, it was y’alls relationship in college that I looked up to and wanted for me and Matthew. You were the couple that everyone thinks Matthew and I was.. y’all were the UGA QB and cheerleader that met and never let go. I love y’all,.Kelly Stafford wrote
However, the damage is done. And some even advised Stafford to split up with the media personality.
