The NFL fans have been beaming with excitement as the days go by and the Super Bowl appears right down the alley. Beyond the field, the event has gained much traction because of the headlining pop artist Kendrick Lamar. Amid the already heightened emotions, the league dropped a promotional ad, once again sparking the fans’ curiosity regarding THE Drake diss track.
Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been in a musical feud for a long time and as it appears, it isn’t dying down anytime soon. With the former-mentioned artist’s inclusion in the Super Bowl halftime show, the internet has ever been buzzing with excitement.
Along with that, there was a huge question mark on whether Lamar would include his winning diss track, ‘Not Like Us’ in the setlist. As the playoffs concluded, the NFL teased the fans with a halftime show ad featuring the musical sensation. The league sneakily used the much-controversial song as background music.
The ad dropped on 26th January 2025, days prior to the Super Bowl. The NFL cracked the marketing genius as the fans are now sure that Kendrick Lamar will be playing the contentious track. This particular song has gained much ado because of conventionally offensive terms used for opposing rapper Drake. The song came out when the two rappers indulged in an extremely provocative feud targeting each other with their songs.
