Along with that, there was a huge question mark on whether Lamar would include his winning diss track, ‘Not Like Us’ in the setlist. As the playoffs concluded, the NFL teased the fans with a halftime show ad featuring the musical sensation. The league sneakily used the much-controversial song as background music.

The ad dropped on 26th January 2025, days prior to the Super Bowl. The NFL cracked the marketing genius as the fans are now sure that Kendrick Lamar will be playing the contentious track. This particular song has gained much ado because of conventionally offensive terms used for opposing rapper Drake. The song came out when the two rappers indulged in an extremely provocative feud targeting each other with their songs.

Not Like Us settled itself on the Billboard charts, as soon as it was out and proceeded to break records. It entered the sports scene when it was played multiple times during matches. The spectators at the NFC championship game between the Eagles and Commanders also heard this song. Conclusively, the fans now are more excited than ever to see Kendrick Lamar take the stage on February 9.

Internet is sure Kendrick Lamar will play Drake’s diss track at Super Bowl

When the song played at the NFC Championship, the commentators were heard promoting the artist before the ad played on the screens. While there is no telling what songs the headlining artist will perform, the fans flooded the internet with their reactions.

“He’s really gonna call him a pedophile on the biggest stage imaginable,” wrote one user.

While some remained indifferent, a majority were thrilled to hear the song that ended the feud between Lamar and Drake. On January 23, Apple Music confirmed that Lamar would bring SZA as a guest artist. Reportedly, the show will take place at the New Orleans Caesers Superdome.
