The most vocal NBA Analyst Kendrick Perkins feels CJ McCollum is the most underrated Shooting Guard in the NBA after the latter pulled off an implosive performance against Houston Rockets. CJ McCollum scored 44 points, 8 assists and 3 rebounds against Houston Rockets. CJ was accompanied by his partner Damian Lillard who also put up an impressive performance with a score of 32 points and 9 assists.

On the other hand, Houston Rockets were led by James Harden and Christian Wood. The former also scored 44 points and a resounding 17 assist tally. Harden was without his new partner John Wall and Eric Gordon. But Wood did not let Harden miss them much, as he scored 31 points and 13 rebounds.

With just over 6 left on the clock, CJ McCollum made a 25-foot three-point jumper. Which led to Rockets taking a much-needed timeout. After which Harden’s bad pass led to Robert Covington’s steals and that was the game for the Rockets.

The positive for the Rockets was the fact that even though they have had an evident tiff with their marquee player James Harden all throughout the off-season. He seems to be raring to go on the court for them. With John Wall by his side, he can be as ferocious as he wants, with someone scoring continuously from open plays.

The Trail Blazers stole 3 points late in OT against the Rockets. As the remaining season unfolds, let’s see how the duo of CJ was Lillard progress and plays in the 2020-21 season. Having said that, the Portland Trail Blazers are scheduled to play against the team that threw them out of the 2019-20 Playoffs Round-1, Los Angeles Lakers.
