It drew the attention of various fans and experts. Notably, former NBA player Kendrick Perkins was one of them, as he was not impressed with Gobert’s performance.
The retired player participated in a watch-along of the Timberwolves’ 117-115 victory over the Kings. Perkins criticized Gobert for a few poor plays. Criticism is normal, and it happens a lot from time to time. However, what happened next was unexpected. The retired player used Kobe Bryant’s quotes to claim he was better than Gobert.
