The NASCAR community is tensed over the ongoing charter lawsuit as it is getting dragged with no side having an advantage. Ex-racer Kenny Wallace has been actively covering the lawsuit filed by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin’s team. He hasn’t been shy about sharing his views on the topic, and has recently another emotion statement.
In the latest video shared on his YouTube channel, named “How Badly Will This Trial Hurt NASCAR?” Kenny Wallace asserted that he hates the fact that the sport is getting sued and it’s getting more ugly day by day. The realist in him understands why the whole legal drama is happening but still dislike the fact that it’s happening.
I do not like NASCAR being sued. I think this is bad for our sport. I think it’s ugly. However, I’ve always been a realist. Therefore, as much as I love NASCAR, they’re being sued, and I can’t help it, and I’m sad for them, and I don’t like it.
Kenny Wallace said on his YouTube channel.
In the same video, he admitted that he didn’t expect this legal drama to happen, but unexpected things happen. NASCAR as sport is going to change forever regardless of the results of the lawsuit that everyone expects to see get dragged on for years, considering the team party that loses court battle will appeal to a higher legal body.
However, I’ve always been a realist. You know, I heard this saying one time. They said, you know, if you go to a wrestling match, you know, WWE, if you go to WWE and you drink you drink beer long enough, it becomes real. Well, I’ve never been like that. And it’s okay.
Kenny Wallace asserted.
So, the dirt racer wants the racing community see the court battle with a positive mental attitude. He reiterated that he hates the fact that NASCAR is getting sued, but since he is helpless in the situation is waiting to legal drama to end. Most in the racing community seems to have the same attitude towards the drama.
Now, I do look at things in a positive mental attitude. So, so therefore, I’m a realist. And the realist is as much as I love NASCAR and I’ve told you all uh they’re being sued and I and I can’t help it and I am sad for them and I don’t like it.

Kenny Wallace explains the consequences of the lawsuit
In the same conversation later, the former racer shared his thoughts on the how this going to affect the sport in the long run, by borrowing words from his close friend Ken Schrader. The veteran believes the sport might experience the loss of big sponsors and might also lose some of their most loyal fans, who might hate how the legends of the sport are being treated.

What is this going to do to our sport? Is it going to hurt our sponsors? Will the sponsors leave? They like; they don’t want none of this. Will the fans say we’re not coming back? ‘We can’t believe what Steve Phelps said about Richard Childress.’
Kenny Wallace said.
The comments from the veteran shows signs of drama and possible financial difficulties the sport is going to experience in the coming years over the lawsuit. Everyone involved should keep this warning in their head and it would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the whole garage.
