This week, all eyes are on the New York Jets and quarterback Aaron Rodgers as the team hopes to wipe the slate clean by moving on from the Robert Saleh era. With Jeff Ulbrich taking the reigns as the interim HC and Todd Downing replacing Nathaniel Hackett as the team’s primary playcaller, once again the Jets organization is buzzing with optimism.
Kevin Durant, the forward for the Phoenix Suns, has been vouching for Aaron Rodgers for the longest time and he is one of the fans excited to see how the veteran quarterback fares under a new head coach and OC. In his latest appearance on the Up and Adams Show with Kay Adams, KD picked the New York Jets to beat the Buffalo Bills this Monday.
After the tumultuous changes within the Jets organization, Kevin Durant believes the players are ready to shift the tide back in their favor.
Durant believes the entire team will come together because they know that the season is not yet lost and that they have the potential to be a top team in the NFL.
The Suns forward further added that the Monday night matchup against Buffalo is a great opportunity for the Jets. It will be a turning point in their season if they win this game as it will give them the confidence they require.
This will be easier said than done as the Bills lead the AFC West with a 3-2 record.
Aaron Rodgers is Kevin Durant’s favorite quarterback of all time
It will be critical for Aaron Rodgers to step up and perform on Monday night because he will be going up against a motivated Josh Allen, who has been playing phenomenally so far this season. Kevin Durant has been a fan of ARod for the longest time. During his previous appearance on the Kay & Adams Show, he showed love and respect towards the four-time MVP.
KD and Aaron Rodgers are similar in many aspects. Both of them are exceptional at their sport, and consistent performers yet are subject to constant criticism, more so than their peers.
Amid all the coaching changes this week with the #Jets, how would @KDTrey5 fix the team? And does he think they're cooked? ⏲️

For Josh Allen and the Bills, Monday night’s matchup is just another football game on their calendar but for the Jets, the outcome of MNF will determine if this season is a lost cause or if there is still hope. Aaron Rodgers will step onto the field without his go-to offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
With Todd Downing stepping in, Rodgers will have a different voice in his headset for the first time since joining the Jets.
