NBA veteran Kevin Durant has been making headlines recently after a viral video of him practicing his jump shots at a nightclub was spotted. Notably, Durant opened up on this story and provided an important insight into what he actually was trying to do on the Up & Adams show alongside the host, Kay Adams.

Durant claimed on the show that it was one of his friends who called him out on the dancefloor. Durant also claimed that the “clip of him practicing his jump shots” was a message to his friend regarding their next matchup. It’s important to note that, during his late-night antics, KD stayed out of any controversy of any kind.

Not only that, ahead of the Team USA camp, Edwards even opened up on playing alongside Durant, fanboying him in an interview. Edwards claimed that he “has butterflies” thinking about playing alongside Durant with Team USA.

As per Joe Vardon of The Athletic, when asked about Durant being his teammate at Team USA, Anthony Edwards had a few words to say.

I can't wait to play alongside him. ... I definitely still got butterflies there waiting for that to happen.
