Kevin Durant hilariously exposed for ‘COD Obsession’ over praise for Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’
NBA star Kevin Durant has been making headlines for his recent X post regarding Ryan Coogler's new movie, Sinners.

Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant, the star of the Phoenix Suns, is not one to be silent, either on or off the court. He is also well-known for using social media frequently and constantly jumping on the bandwagon to expose injustices against him. However, this time around, Durant hopped on social media for a hilarious back-and-forth with a fan regarding the newly released Sinners movie.
The Suns star is known for his low-key lifestyle, like chilling out with friends, playing games on the console, and hooping around in his free time. Given that, Durant personally took to his social media to praise Sinners move directed by Ryan Coogler. His tweet had so many details, fans started to wonder whether it was Durant or not.
The whole cast, everybody behind the scenes that had their hands on that film, Thank you. Great content. Mbj reaching higher levels of greatness every outing. Ryan Coogler continues to speak to the soul. Good sh*t, check Sinners out asap.

To this, a fan quickly replied, “if this movie made KD get off cod and come out the house, it gotta be fire.” Kevin Durant responded again, “Chill bro, u know too much.”

This hilarious exchange quickly went viral among the NBA community. Durant is known to play ‘Cod’, i.e, Call of Duty, a shooting game. Just like Durant, LeBron James also plays ‘COD’ and is known to be his ‘gaming buddy.
He is not one to watch movies and rave about them on social media, leading to doubts regarding Durant’s recent praise for the movie. This could be one of the reasons fans did not appreciate Durant coming out to promote a movie.
Aside from this, the movie Sinners is making rounds among the NBA community. Many basketball stars like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and now Durant have come out to speak about the movie.
However, it’s no coincidence for stars to praise the movie all of a sudden. Per reports, James and other stars share a great bond with Coogler. Hence, the basketball world has decided to chime in on the recent movie.
LeBron James shared his honest take on the newly released Sinners movie
Notably, NBA legend LeBron James, who is a great friend of Ryan Coogler, attended the Sinners screening alongside his wife, Savannah James, and a few friends. James had high praise for the movie and its main character, Michael B. Jordan. He took to his X account to put forward his views.

Although Ryan Coogler has released several successful films recently, his most recent film, which stars Jordan, is getting overwhelmingly positive reviews. After the first 90 reviews, Sinners garnered a ton of positive reviews from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, making it one of the rare films to score almost flawlessly at 99%.
Warriors star Stephen Curry attended the Sinners movie premiere
To recover for the NBA Playoffs, even elite athletes like Stephen Curry require a break from the court. Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, made a surprise cameo at the Oakland premiere of Sinners, the newest horror film helmed by the acclaimed Ryan Coogler.

Curry and Ayesha stole the show at the Grand Lake Theatre premiere, where celebrities and creatives attended. Entering the Warriors’ playoff game versus the Houston Rockets on April 20, the majority of fans thought Stephen Curry would stick around, fade out, and spend all of his time watching game tape. But the two-time MVP knows how to balance his obligations to sports with his personal life.
