Kevin Durant roasts ‘broke’ fan for claiming he never bets on Suns star: “U won’t miss that lil 4 dollars”
Phoenix Suns' Kevin Durant fires back at brooding bettors after a tough shooting night, finishing with 19 points in a dominant 130-105 win.
Kevin Durant goes off on gamblers, again
In Friday’s battle, Kevin Durant led the Phoenix Suns as they trounced his former team with a 130-105 final score. However, despite the rout, the team’s star, KD, was clearly having trouble reaching his usual tempo. His first subpar performance in his last 10 games was sure to catch some heat from sullen handicappers.
Going 5-of-9 from behind the arc, it was obviously a rough night for the veteran. After finishing the game with 19 points, KD got into a verbal spat with a disgruntled fan who wrote, “It’s a reason why I never bet on your b*tch a**.” This provocative tweet unsurprisingly got a much-expected slight from the 36-year-old forward.
Brokeyyyyy. You’ll be aight, u won’t miss that lil 4 dollars u lost tonight

Burning the fan to a crisp over being destitute and distressed, KD reminded the parlayer that this is simply a natural part of the uncertain life of a gambler. This evoked a response from the fan, who wrote, asking if it was justifiable to call them broke over his inconsistencies, saying, “shut yo old ass up clown just retire already.”
This isn’t the first time Durant has called out fans publicly for abusing and bashing players after losing a bet, a growing trend among the sports community. This year, there have been several notable episodes of Durant confronting sports bettors. Prior to this incident, he showed no mercy to a female fan as he echoed Kyle Kuzma’s words: “You stink at cookin parlays.“
Kevin Durant quotes Kyle Kuzma when talking to a female gambler
Earlier this month, Washinton Wizards’ Kyle Kuzma clapped back at fans who were blaming him for ruining their parlays, writing, “Have they ever once thought…’Damn, maybe I’m a** at picking parlays?'” This retort by the 29-year-old was recently used by KD in the latest installment of players versus parlayers. When an angry native of Detroit wrote that she “don’t like” KD and that he routinely messes up her parlays, KD didn’t hold back.
What Kuz say yesterday. Maybe u just stink at cookin up parlays 🤷🏾♂️. Good thing is, you can learn from these mistakes and be better next time.

In his 17th season with the NBA, Durant is still putting up All-Star-like numbers. Averaging 27.1 points per game on a 40%-plus shooting rate from the three-point line, even at the age of 36, KD continues to produce at an elite level as a scorer.
Next, KD and the crew will fly out to Rip City on Saturday to pick up another easy win on the road and improve their regular season standings. Currently, the Suns are in the 8th spot in the West, winning 25 of their 47 games so far.
