Kevin Durant sees no problem with Anthony Edwards doing ‘SUCK IT’ DX celebration
Kevin Durant is on the verge of getting swept by Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Kevin Durant is not bothered by Anthony Edwards celebration.
Anthony Edwards has not missed an opportunity to taunt the Phoenix Suns ever since the Minnesota Timberwolves’ first win in the series. The star took the on-court disrespect to a new level when he did the DX celebration after defeating his idol Kevin Durant for the third consecutive time. However, as many found the celebration a bit far-fetched, Durant himself is not bothered by it.
Kevin Durant is someone who truly enjoys basketball and loves the competitiveness on the court. The veteran’s wholesome reaction to Anthony Edwards‘ taunting in the first game is a specimen of that. Hence, it does not come as a surprise that Durant has no problem with Ant-Man’s celebration as the Timberwolves are up 3-0.

Ant-Man has all the right to celebrate as the youngster is likely to take the Minnesota Timberwolves to the second round with a sweep. No team in the history of the NBA has won after being down 0-3. The series win will be the T-wolves’ first after almost a decade credited to Edwards. However, his on-court celebrations kept aside, the guard has shown nothing but love for his favorite player off the court.
Durant and the Phoenix Suns, on the other hand, have been a disappointment for the fans. The big 3 of the team have not done anything special in all three games. The trio was brought together in hopes of a championship, but now it seems like the super team will leave the competition in the first round itself.
Kevin Durant names Suns head coach as the leader of the team
On the current Suns roster, Durant is the most experienced player with seventeen years under his belt. When the two-time champion joined the Suns, fans expected the veteran to guide the young talent such as Devin Booker. But recently, Durant named the team’s head coach Frank Vogel as the leader of the team.
After the Suns’ three losses against the Timberwolves, KD was asked about the team’s on-floor leader. As the reporter expected the 35-year-old to name himself, Durant was firm on his answer. “We all speak up and talk, but the leader is the coach,” Kevin Durant said. The HC on the other hand had a contradictory answer to the same question.
HC Vogel picked the Big 3 of the team, KD, Booker, and Bradley Beal saying that the trio leads the team in their ways. The team needs a player with tenure to take responsibility and perform better than the first round so far. Durant who has no flaws in his performances, can truly help Booker and Beal find their rhythm more.
