Team USA and NBA star Kevin Durant has been making the headlines lately. This was after he was spotted trash-talking the South Sudan players and their head coach at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Notably, Team USA has been top-notch in the Paris Olympics, winning 2 out of 2 they have played as of yet. However, it was Durant who stole the spotlight with his hilarious trash-talk against South Sudan head coach, Royal Ivey.
Following the team’s tight one-point victory over South Sudan in the friendly games in London, Steve Kerr changed the starting lineup twice. In the Olympic Games, South Sudan head coach Royal Ivey acknowledged that the USA was an entirely different squad after defeating South Sudan 103-86.
