In the third quarter of the match on Monday at FedExForum, officials separated Memphis Grizzlies youngster Cam Spencer and Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant. This was following an altercation, and both received technical fouls. Spencer opened the sequence by hitting a corner 3-pointer and turning to talk trash with Durant.

Durant reacted by kicking his leg out, intending to hit or trip Spencer. The Grizzlies staff and players on the court were immediately aware. However, this altercation did not go down well with ex-NBA champion Paul Pierce. The former Boston Celtics player claimed that Durant ‘was too weak’ in his confrontation with Spencer during the game.

Desmond Bane and Durant came face-to-face when the Grizzlies’ shooting guard intervened. Team officials and other players on the court raced in to divide Bane and Durant. This annoyed Pierce even more. He claimed that a player of the stature of Durant should be respected.

The Suns have not really been in their element this year, while their best player KD is also attacking Skip Bayless on Twitter and attempting to trip a player who has played in the G-League this year. With the Suns’ failure to climb back to. .500 or sneak onto the play-in, this is a tough time for Durant.

Suns star man Kevin Durant and Grizzlies’ rookie Cam Spencer have been making the headlines lately. Both players went at it, leading to a wild trash-talk. It did not end there. Other stars like Devin Booker, Ja Morant, and Desmond Bane also chimed in.

Notably, the trash-talk was revealed in a leaked viral clip by famous X account LegendZ. It started with Spencer fouling Durant from the back. Durant retaliated with some backtalk.

Ultimately, both Durant and Spencer got technical fouls, but it was the latter who had the last laugh as the Grizzlies secured an important win.

The technical foul is going to result in a fine that is a portion of Durant’s maximum salary. However, Spencer, who is on a two-way arrangement, pays significantly more. The good news is that Memphis star Ja Morant has said he will gladly pay the rookie’s tab. Desmond Bane stated that he was preparing to do the same thing.
