Kevin Durant could be on his way out of the Phoenix Suns with few playoff contenders negotiating with his team.

Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant is one of the most active athletes on social media. Now that he and his teammates as relaxing during the offseason, the superstar is spending even more time engaging with fans. Be it good or bad, the 36-year-old is not one to back down from a little online exchange.
When he is not online, he uses his time to watch WNBA games, meet up with his business partners. He also takes in soccer matches and was ecstatic that his Paris Saint-Germain won the UEFA Champions League this past weekend.
He shared a story of their victory on his X page as he was elated that a club he invested in is winning trophies at the highest level. Durant wants to win at least another NBA title before he retires, but his Suns have been mediocre at best.
Everybody go follow Kendrick Perkins @perk5yunghawg, he's the new guy
— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) January 21, 1993
Those struggles led to some heated exchanges with fans on social media. He would either correct those fans or shut them down with an appropriate reply. Earlier today, the two-time NBA champion posted another tweet on X.
Everybody go follow Kendrick Perkins @perk5yunghawg, he’s the new guy.
Kevin Durant wrote on X

His followers initially thought this was a reference to his former teammate Kendrick Perkins. They have been having a bit of a back-and-forth exchange on social media as well as on TV, and fans felt this was a troll, considering Perkins has an active X account, but it is not the same as the Suns star mentioned.
Kevin Durant’s tweet shocks fans
This tweet from Kevin Durant was nothing that would generally attract a lot of attention. If it were even a troll at Kendrick Perkins, it would still not garner these many replies. The post does not show how many users have viewed it.
That is because, as fans pointed out, the date set for this tweet is Jan 21, 1993. X, then Twitter, was founded in 2006. 1993 was a time when the internet was not as widespread to have hundreds of comments on one topic. Fans believe Kevin Durant has had a wild ‘time-travel’ moment and reacted with their stunned replies on that post, examples of which are below.

The timestamp of 1993 must be a technical glitch on X’s side. The social media platform does not show views beyond a certain period in time, as it was not tracked when Twitter was originally launched. However, fans found this amusing and many believe the Paris Olympic gold medalist might not be able to find the tweet, since it will reflect at the bottom of his feed.
Kevin Durant will potentially leave Phoenix Suns in a few weeks
Kevin Durant has time to figure out why his Twitter feed is acting strange. He is in his offseason and is not currently concentrating on his basketball career. However, his agent might be busy considering there are a few teams interested in trading for the 15-time All-Star.

As per the latest reports from Forbes’ Evan Sidery and a few other sources, a few teams are talking to the Phoenix Suns about a potential trade. The team did entertain trade calls before this past deadline, only for Durant to veto them.

However, that could change now in the offseason as the superstar grew frustrated with the state of the Suns. They have hired their fourth head coach in four seasons and have an unbalanced roster to rectify. Their lack of draft picks is making it difficult, and the Suns want to figure out how much they can obtain.
Naturally, Durant would want to move to a contender. It might not be with his previous team, the Golden State Warriors, but others, such as the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, and the Minnesota Timberwolves, are believed to be in talks.
