The situation turned tense at the Fanatics Flag Football draft event in Los Angeles on March 18. Logan Paul trash-talked right next to Rob Gronkowski’s ear before the former NFL tight end retaliated with a barrage of words of his own.

“I’m going to beat your [expletive], then I’m going to beat all your brothers’ [expletive],” Paul shouted at Gronk, to which he cheekily replied, “Save it for the field.”

Kevin Hart, in charge of hosting the event with fellow comedian/actor Druski, intervened at the right moment to defuse the situation. Video of the altercation went viral on social media, garnering millions of views across multiple accounts within hours.

This feud between Paul and Gronk is nothing new. Fans have grown accustomed to their bickering over the past weeks. It began with Paul claiming that he is more athletic than any NFL player and can defeat them inside the wrestling ring.

Gronk took notice and gave a sharp reply on the Up & Adams show.

If Logan Paul wants a piece of me, I’m down. Throw it down on the field [at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic]. I’ll whoop his [expletive].

Rob Gronkowski announced

Le’Veon Bell, the retired NFL running back turned boxer, also challenged Paul to a duel. Despite accepting the offer, Paul later backed out, claiming that the WWE brass instructed him to avoid jeopardizing his contract with the organization. That hasn’t stopped the host of the Impaulsive podcast from publicly feuding with NFL players, the latest being a three-time Super Bowl champion tight end.

Paul also had a minor run-in with Gronk’s former quarterback, Tom Brady. The verbal sparring reached its crescendo when Brady took the stage to draft his players.

What do you want, Tom [Brady]? Say something. You had plenty to say on my podcast … You’ve been talking to everyone lately … Now, you’ve got nothing to say?

Paul screamed at the retired Super Bowl champion

Brady is not someone to take sledging lightly. He quickly put the ball in Paul’s court by refusing to respond directly to his comments. Even so, the 48-year-old fired back with a quick, sharp response just minutes later.

Logan Paul told me he scored 19 touchdowns in high school, bro. Derrick Henry [Ravens RB] scored 97 touchdowns in one year of high school, and they took him out by halftime. Who the [expletive] cares about your 19 touchdowns and high school career?

Brady chuckled

Is Rob Gronkowski returning to the NFL?

Gronkowski won the first two of his three rings with the Patriots. The team from New England reached the Super Bowl once more in the 2025-26 season, where they lost to the Seattle Seahawks.

Following the loss, the Patriots cut Stefon Diggs, even though the veteran had tallied 85 catches, 1,013 yards, and 4 touchdowns. Recently, the Patriots addressed the vacant position by trading for former Packers WR Romeo Doubs.

Doubs, a former fourth-round draft pick, received permission to wear the #87 jersey. The number was worn by Gronkowski for nine years with the team.

Doubs has worn the 87 ever since entering the league with the Packers. Since the Patriots never retired Gronk’s number, it was available for the 25-year-old to claim.

Gronk followed Brady to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he spent the final two years of his life and won his third and final ring. He retired in June 2022. However, in November 2025, Gronkowski signed a one-day contract with the Patriots to retire as a member of the organization that drafted him in the second round in 2010.
