Kevin Holland once again comes to UFC’s rescue – Trailblazer offers to replace Diego Sanchez after he pulled out from Donald Cerrone fight
Kevin Holland once again shows up when the UFC is need of a promotion. Doesn’t matter where, when, or which weight class, if there is a need of replacement, he will be there. Recently Diego Sanchez revealed that he will be pulling out from the fight against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.
Kevin Holland has offered to replace Diego Sanchez in the fight against Cowboy. Though the “Trailblazer” is a middleweight he is willing to drop down to 175-pounds to fight Cowboy. The fighter took to Instagram and Twitter to call out Donald. Though the booking has not been confirmed, fans are positive that Holland will replace him given his past with the company.
“I’ll run my ass off I’ll sleep upstairs with my heat maxed out and a sauna suit on your a legend nothing but respect Cowboy Cerrone! I’ll gladly step up Probably come in around 175 but if the cowboy needs a dog to go along for the ride maybe show you a few tricks…Call BigMouth,” wrote Kevin Holland on his Instagram.
Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will possibly be fighting his last fight before retirement. He is well respected veteran with a record of 36-15-0 and 2 no contests in his professional career. His last fight was against Niko Price which was overturned.
Kevin Holland is UFC’s go-to man
Kevin Holland has recently been taking up fights day and night. He has fought more fights in half a year than most fighters would in 2 years. It is only 4 months into 2021 and BigMouth has already fought two fights. His last fight was against Marvin Vettori last month which he lost via unanimous decision.
Holland took up the fight under 2 weeks notice. Prior to the Vettori fight, Kevin had fought Derek Brunson in the main event of the fight night event in March. Kevin stepped up as replacement to Darren Till who was pulled off a from the fight against Marvin just 2 weeks prior to the event.
Will the company let Holland replace another fighter again 2 times in a row?
