Kevin Kisner is ready with his strategy and mind games as The Presidents Cup 2022 gets underway from today and with that, the players, caddies, and respective personnel get underway with their respective tasks up in front.
A 12-a-side team event, the Presidents Cup 2022 will only feature certain players who owed their allegiance to the PGA Tour instead of switching over to the new sensation in town – LIV Golf Circuit. Some big names such as Cameron Smith, and Dustin Johnson are surely missing to fans’ disappointment.

When Davis Love III, captain of the U.S. team was to pick players for President Cup 2022, Kevin Kisner might not have been his direct and ‘for sure’ choice. Although the final name for the U.S., the latter got a call from the skipper that included him in a tight 12-man list to represent their country.
Kisner himself gave a ring to Love earlier in the championship about whether he should take a break or not because of the upcoming Presidents Cup. Love indicated Kisner to “stay sharp”. Kisner further stated – “Finally, he called me, and he was like, ‘All right, I can’t stand it anymore. You’re on the team.’ … I don’t know if he was waiting on the Tour Championship to be over, or I don’t know what his thing was”.
Even though not an obvious choice, Kevin Kisner is thrilled to represent his country at the Presidents Cup 2022 and has his mind games and plans ready up his sleeves. “It’s going to be what it is,” Kisner quoted. “I’m going to dink it down the fairway and hopefully make a lot of putts to piss people off.”
