On Tuesday, Tiger Woods made his long-awaited TGL debut. The 15-time major champion is the co-owner of the league. He and his Jupiter Links GC teammates took on the Los Angeles Golf Club in the second match. During this, a brutal shank shot from Kevin Kisner left the golf great cracked up.

Woods and his team did not start off strong and found themselves on the edge of a huge defeat. On the 14th hole, his team were 10-1 down in the match. During this Kisner came out and tried to hit a bunker shot.

Unfortunately for him, his shot went wayward. The 4-time PGA Tour champion ended up chipping his shot straight at the flagstick.

Woods and Max Homa, who were watching from the sides were unable to control their laughter. Meanwhile, Kisner was left shocked by his attempt and just stood there in the bunker as his ball flew by. At the end he was able to save par with a long putt.

Woods though was hurt from laughing from the incident. In the broadcast after the failed chip shot of Kisner, the 49-year-old jokingly claimed that the ball almost cleared the stands.

I’m still hurting I’m laughing so hard. I didn’t think anyone could get hurt out here. It almost cleared the stands. It was rising, oh my God.

Tiger Woods said

Kisner had another fun moment in the middle of the match. With him struggling and his team losing, he would hilariously ask Charlie Woods, son of Tiger Woods, if he wanted to come in his place and get substituted.

The second match of the TGL had some exciting moments. However, the highlight of the day became the failed chip bunker shot of Kevin Kisner. After the incident, his teammate Max Homa would brutally troll him for his failed attempt.

Homa, the 6-time PGA Tour winner, was one of the bright spot for the TGL on the second night. He had several hilarious moments throughout the course of the game. Near the end, he would come forward to take a bunker shot and told Kisner that he will show him how it’s done.

Max Homa said

After suffering a crushing 12-1 defeat at the hands of the LAGC, Homa would issue a hilarious apology to golf simulators on social media. He claimed that they failed them today with this performance.

Homa and his teammates will be hoping to bounce back from this blowout victory in two week’s time. They will take on the Boston Golf Club of Rory McIlroy on January 27.
