Jimmy Butler‘s circumstances in Miami have rapidly gotten worse, and the Heat star has now formally asked for a trade out of Miami. Regarding this matter, former Heat player Kevin Love also chimed in with a bit of humor
Heat veteran Kevin Love made fun of Butler with a funny Instagram post after his trade request was officially approved. Naturally, Butler’s outrageous hairstyle on the media day before the 2023–24 season is the source of the joke. Love took advantage of Butler’s seven-game suspension to make fun of his soon-to-be ex-teammate.
Jimmy Butler has averaged 17.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game in 22 games this season. The Heat star is now frequently a spectator on both ends of the court. This is because he is shooting only roughly 10 shots per game and not even trying two three-pointers every night. This is one of the reasons why the Heat have opted against renewing Butler’s contract.
All eyes now shift to which team will try to sign the Heat star before the trade market deadline. If Butler is traded in the coming weeks, he might end up with the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, or Golden State Warriors. He has consistently averaged 16.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. This is over 945 regular-season games, demonstrating his versatility and dependability. Most recently, he made a decision that won over the Heat fanbase.
On an Instagram post, Kein Love replied to a fan in the comments, “Love my Cleveland people but I’m a Heat Lifer now!” This comes as a surprise to many NBA fans.
