If one were watching the WNBA throughout this whole week, he or she would clearly state that it has been quite chaotic. This is in terms of fans throwing objects during ongoing games at the arena, because the WNBA witnessed this twice in a week during two of their games. First, it happened during the Golden State Valkyries’ matchup against the Atlanta Dream.
Now, most recently, it happened during the Golden State Valkyries vs. the Chicago Sky’s game three days later. The situation involves a s*x toy being thrown on the court during both of these matches, which has caused immense chaos amongst the basketball community. In all of this, NBA star Kevin Love found the funny side, or one can say the wittier side, of this matter.
Many know that Love is known for his funny nature on and off the court. He took this to his social media and posted a funny meme via his Instagram account, taking a slight jab at the WNBA’s security in the process. The video contained a clip of a comedy skit depicting an instructor showing how to disarm an attacker wielding obscene objects.
After coming across the meme, fans could not contain their laughter and called him one of the best meme pages on the app. However, though Love made a humorous situation out of this matter, many WNBA players did not agree with the situation that has been unfolding lately.
Valkyries forward Cecilia Zandalasini called the interruption super dangerous. In addition, a New York Liberty player, Isabelle Harrison, also called out the security of the arena for not taking proper precautions, resulting in such kind of dangerous situations.
NBA insider makes interesting Kevin Love trade rumor
NBA star Kevin Love was traded to the Utah Jazz last season as part of a three-team transaction. Going into this season, there was a conception that his contract would be bought out, but that is not the case. Now, as per various reports, the Cleveland Cavaliers are also interested in Love’s services. However, it does not seem as if the NBA veteran will join Cleveland this year.
As per an NBA insider, Jake Fischer, he is interested in joining a glamour market, which sends clear indications towards a move for New York or Los Angeles.
So with Kevin Love, to my understanding, he really only wants to be in the big glamour markets. I do think it would mostly be something along the lines of Kevin Love going to a New York or a Los Angeles type of situation. So, we’ll see if that can materialize for him.
Jake Fischer said

Love only appeared in 23 Miami Heat games last season, averaging little under 11 minutes per game. To put it plainly, the Cavaliers will not even get the Love of the post-LeBron era back. He would probably be a deep bench star, similar to Tristan Thompson, who could play a few minutes here and there to stretch the floor and possibly pull down some rebounds.
NBA reporter urges Kevin Love to join the Knicks this upcoming season
One thing’s for sure: the Utah Jazz have many big men at their disposal, with Kevin Love being one of them. The Jazz star is reportedly on the move towards another NBA team this year, as mentioned above. Now, an NBA reporter, Jeremy Brener of Sports Illustrated, made an interesting proposal shipping Love to the New York Knicks, in this trade market.
Love, an NBA champion and five-time All-Star, may soon be available for purchase. Love is anticipated to strike a buyout contract in the upcoming months after being moved from the Heat to the Utah Jazz in an arrangement that enabled Miami to acquire Norman Powell.
After being traded to the Jazz, Kevin Love is expected to agree to a buy-out, and will enter free agency.

This past season, he averaged a career-low 5.3 points per game while playing in just 23 games. However, those figures don’t fully capture the situation. Love has long received accolades for his leadership, basketball acumen, and selfless style of play, all of which might be very helpful to a Knicks team trying to advance in the Eastern Conference.
