After Crown Jewel, The Prizefighter was interviewed by Cathy Kelley, sharing his thoughts on his brawl with Randy Orton. He admitted that, while he never desired to compete against The Apex Predator, he relished the idea of Orton’s decimation. Consequently, when Orton was hurt, he felt a sense of satisfaction even after breaking his ribs.
You know what we did? We walked out of the accident we were in. I’m sure Randy Orton feels even worse than we did. He feels worse than I do now. I think I broke my ribs, but I walked out. Yeah, I got what I wanted.
