Ruffled by the tragic turn of events at Saturday Night's Main Event, Kevin Owens ranted about WWE officials and Cody Rhodes on SmackDown.

This week’s pre-taped SmackDown featured a furious Kevin Owens taking no responsibility for his callous attack on Cody Rhodes after Saturday Night’s Main Event. As the fans know, after the show went off the air, Owens blindsided Rhodes, hit a package piledriver, and relegated the Undisputed WWE Champion to the hospital bed. But as per Kevin, that’s not his fault.

In fact, Cody’s to blame, let alone the so-called incompetent WWE referees and the management. The Prizefighter continued asserting that he was screwed out of winning the world title from Rhodes, calling it a travesty. Owens claimed that he’s holding the Winged Eagle WWE title belt hostage until he gets what he wants. Further, the 40-year-old Canuck said that he hasn’t snapped yet.

Because if he does snap, it’ll get ugly for everyone. At last, KO warned Cody, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, and other WWE officials that whatever comes their way next will be all on them. Kevin’s obsession with championship gold has seen him butt heads and even lay his hands on the WWE CCO, Triple H. After last weekend’s SNME, The Game got into a heated confrontation with Owens. They had to be separated.

I haven’t snapped yet. It can all get so much worse. Trust me. You don’t want me to snap.

Also, this Wednesday, Kevin showed up uninvited at the WWE headquarters. The company held a Raw on Netflix kickoff event at their base in Stamford. Owens arrived, bragged about his actions, and before being asked to leave, took a shot at CM Punk as well.

The Canadian Dream later teased adding a Claymore Kick to his ‘moveset’—a term that Punk had previously adjudged as garbage. Nonetheless, it seems like Kevin’s having the time of his life with the kind of leeway he’s enjoying as part of his current gimmick.

How is Cody Rhodes doing after falling prey to Kevin Owens?

Amid his explained WWE absence since Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes made a public appearance on Friday. He participated in a meet & greet for his wife Brandi RhodesNakedMind Yoga & Pilates studio.

WWE has announced that Rhodes endured cervical swelling but was tested negative for a potential fracture. He’s diagnosed with axial compression of the cervical spine and a cervical strain with spasm.

The former AEW EVP is seemingly ruled out of WWE shows for the rest of the year. One can expect him to be back as soon as the company ushers in 2025. It’d also be quite intriguing to see what WWE has in store for him at WrestleMania 41.
