This past weekend, at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Kevin Owens signed the contract for his ladder match against Cody Rhodes, where the latter will put his Undisputed WWE title up for grabs. The segment was moderated by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels. But how did it lead to Owens cursing at the camera?
At one point, HBK regarded Owens as jealous. The Canuck then turned his attention to Michaels, disregarding his stint in WWE with the Winged Eagle title. Kevin claimed that Shawn was just upset at him because Owens brought more prestige and attention to the iconic WWE belt than Mr. WrestleMania ever could in his career.
A few moments later, The Prizefighter set HBK up for a package piledriver. But Cody chimed in and superkicked his nemesis. After that, Michaels decked the outspoken French-Canadian with a Sweet Chin Music. But something that didn’t make the air was Kevin’s reaction as he was heading backstage.
In a clip posted by WWE across its socials, the 40-year-old could be seen yelling, “Get this sh*t out of my face,” at the camera. Quite understandably, WWE dropped the audio at the s-word. This Saturday, at the Royal Rumble, it’s do-or-die for Owens. His run as the self-proclaimed WWE Champion will end if he doesn’t beat Rhodes at the PLE.
Both the Undisputed WWE and the Winged Eagle titles will be suspended above the ring. The one who retrieves them will be declared the winner. The Canadian Dream has not held a world title since 2017. He may do so this time around if Sami Zayn backs him the way he’s expecting the former Honorary Uce to do so. Kevin recently came face-to-face with Zayn on Raw, where he appeared to manipulate Sami.
Kevin Owens took a dig at Matthew McConaughey on SmackDown
This past week on SmackDown, WWE had Matthew McConaughey on hand. The actor, however, got smacked by a ticked-off Kevin Owens. The latter interrupted the live broadcast, whining about his interview snub from Joe Tessitore.

Once Kevin was done unloading on the commentator, he noticed that McConaughey was in the front row. The Quebec-born wrestler mocked Matthew’s Texas Longhorns for their recent loss against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Later that night on the show, the former Universal Champion pinned Jimmy Uso. In the process, he sported a T-shirt featuring Uso’s wife, Naomi. That was one way to mock Big Jim and Owens was successful in doing it.
