It does seem like the situation surrounding Kevin Owens is getting out of hand now. Following up on his recent actions since attacking Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood, Kevin has posted a video message on X. He could be heard accusing WWE of unjust treatment, let alone the way they’ve devalued him of late. Owens has been extremely upset at how the company’s been constantly trying to shut him up.

Continuing his rant-filled address, Kevin said he’s not even sure of returning to WWE with everything that’s been going on. He alleged that the higher-ups have been mad at him just because he dropped their golden boy, Cody, in front of his stupid tour bus. But that isn’t his prime concern. Instead, what broke Owens from the inside was the fact that Randy Orton, whom he considered to be his running buddy, chose Rhodes over KO.

Speaking of Randy, he punched his former tag team partner last week on SmackDown after Kevin went ballistic on The American Nightmare. Owens made Orton pay later that night in a parking lot ambush. General Manager Nick Aldis had to summon many security personnel to quell the onslaught.

Sports Illustrated later released unseen footage of their brawl. That ticked Orton off. He responded to Kevin’s attack while making his entrance during a live event in the UK. The Viper called for a receipt for the ex-Universal Champion.

Randy said that Owens has earned a beating. But given that Kevin has been asked by WWE officials to stay home and not show up on SmackDown, what would happen next? The Apex Predator might’ve to journey to Kevin’s house to get his lick back.

Is Kevin Owens’ WWE tirade a part of the storyline?

Kevin Owens‘ recent change in demeanor falls in line with what’s expected to unfold in the near future. There’s been a lot of chatter about his WWE contract expiration. The company reached out to him for a new deal, as his current one was expected to last until January 2025.

It’s now been learned that Owens has indeed re-signed with WWE. But the company apparently wants the audience to think otherwise. This is why Kevin’s ongoing issues with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are supposed to get him into trouble courtesy of WWE.

His subtle hint at retirement appears to be a well-orchestrated selling point for the storyline that Triple H recently claimed was deemed to be dealt with internally. The former NXT Champion even issued an ultimatum to WWE that bore no fruit for him.
