The rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens is far from over. Despite receiving an opportunity at the Undisputed WWE Championship in their upcoming match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Owens continues to hurl insults at his former friend. This time, KO went into detail about the three things that he hates about Rhodes. Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Owens first took a jibe at The American Nightmare’s tracksuit designs.
Owens revealed that Rhodes has a WWE tracksuit with ‘QB’ embedded on it. However, The Prizefighter stated that nobody, except Rhodes himself, calls him the quarterback of the company. Furthermore, Owens recalled when Rhodes mocked that he drives a Lamborghini. KO pointed out the hypocrisy in the statement, adding that the Undisputed WWE Champion owns and drives around in a tour bus with a chauffeur.
Last and perhaps most hilarious of all, Owens believes Rhodes is spreading an unhealthy habit within young children. The former Universal Champion claimed Rhodes’ young fans are forcing their parents to bleach their hair like the second-generation star. However, Owens raised concerns about the chemicals inside bleach, which can be unhealthy.
That’s not good, these chemicals in your kid’s hair. He is promoting an unhealthy habit that Americans, specifically, are putting their kids through. Against their will, I’m sure. No kid is going, ‘Can you bleach my hair so I look like Cody Rhodes?’ That’s not happening.

Throughout this rivalry, Kevin Owens has expressed his frustration with everyone, including WWE, taking Rhodes’ side. On last week’s episode of SmackDown, the 40-year-old star disrespected Michael Cole after the latter asked him about the situation. With that said, Owens has promised that he will not hesitate to pull the trigger on Cody Rhodes as they prepare to square off at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Is Kevin Owens headed for a WrestleMania program with Sami Zayn?
One of the most intriguing talking points from the interview with Michael Cole last week was Sami Zayn being brought up for the first time since his allegiance to the OG Bloodline. Kevin Owens did respond to it, saying that he would deal with Zayn in the near future.
Already feeling betrayed by Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, fans wondered how KO felt when his best friend rejoined Roman Reigns‘ side. Having hospitalized Orton and attacked Rhodes, a brutal few months lie in wait for the former Intercontinental Champion.
After he is done dealing with The American Nightmare, Owens will most likely target Zayn next. In fact, it won’t be surprising if the former Tag Team Champions face each other at WrestleMania 41. The duo has met inside the ring before at the Showcase of Immortals, which ended with Owens defeating Zayn at WrestleMania 37.
