The undisputed Lightweight champion of UFC Khabib Nurmagomedov is working on some big plans after his retirement.  ‘The Eagle’ announced to start a telecom company and he reportedly brought the MMA promotion ‘Gorilla Fighting Championship’. Now Khabib is planning to meet Thomas Bach, the head of the International Olympic Committee.

The agenda of Khabib’s meeting is going to be the inclusion of MMA in the 2028 Los Angles Olympic Games. In his latest press conference at Tashkent, Eagle says, “The inclusion of MMA in the Olympics is one of my main tasks for the next couple of years, we are already working in this direction”.

“In the near future, I will have many meetings, including with the President of the Olympic Committee. I think, if not in Paris, then in In Los Angeles, we have a great chance of promoting MMA. The only question is the cruelty of the sport.”

“This is not encouraged at the Olympics, they do not want there to be a lot of blood. But in terms of recognition, sponsorship, in terms of interest for television, MMA, I think that if it enters the Olympics program, it will be on a par with football and athletics in interest”

Khabib planning Dana White’s cooperation in promoting GFC

The ‘Eagle of Dagestan’ is planning to change the name of Gorilla Fighting Championship to Eagle Fighting Championship. The promotion till now works in Russia and some CIS countries only but the Eagle is hoping to expend it to Arab countries and the United States.

Khabib also shared an Instagram post with the caption “See you soon Dana”. Maybe this is what he wants to discuss with Dana for the promotion of his MMA cooperation in the American market. Dana White is the right man for this job and everyone knows how much he supports Khabib.
