Khabib respected contract over money

Khabib has accepted several times super-fight against Mayweather. Besides that, Mayweather has also shown interest in this fight. So, it could be a big super-fight if these two champion fighters could be seen in Octagon together.

However, Khabib has cited his UFC contract to be the sole reason behind from withdrawing from multi-million fight offers. Khabib claimed that his contract and word holds more value than money.

Khabib has even rejected a lucrative offer thrown his way. Speaking with Daily Mall, he said, “Yes, you’ll be scolded, fined. But we’ll take care of all the fines.

Khabib further added that he himself was not aware of the UFC’s stand on this fight. ‘I’m not aware of the UFC’s own position on the Mayweather fight.”, ‘The Eagle’ added.

As things took pace, Khabib also plunged in and accepted the fight. He has even appeared ready to go 11 rounds with Mayweather.

But Khabib wanted to play his last match under the MMA-rule set and Mayweather hasn’t responded yet. Further, no official update came about the contest and it went into trash bins.
